Bloc Pot.
Not quite. The Bloc Pot and the Marijuana Party are actually two different entities. The Bloc Pot is only based in Québec while the Marijuana Party is for the RoC.

Maybe you've never heard it, but in Québec RoC means Rest of Canada.

Okay...

ROC as in "Republic of China" (Taiwan)? There is no such thing as the "Republic of Canada", at least not according to the CIA World Factbook...

That would probably be because Canada is not a republic. We should be, but too many people are still attached to that old foreign bitty.

We used to have a long form name "The Dominion of Canada", but that was withdrawn a number of years ago because many people thought it implied colonial British rule, even though that's not what it means at all.

HA! Wow, you all really do have the secession bug, don't ya? No, by the way, I'd never heard of it like that, but it just cracks me up. :)

Basically because anything in Canada outside of Québec is just one big homogenous whole.

What's up your ass lately giving me all those rolleyes smily? :p

The expression has be used for a while in the media to designated Canada while excluding Québec. It's commonly used in polls for example.

Anyone heard of the Canadian Action Party before? They had a few ideas I liked on their site but were vague and wordy about other issues.

Also, I guess I know where the NDP stands on our military. I couldn't find one thing about it on their site
