Can't accelerate district production

I have the royal society in my capital, have never used a builder to accelerate a district all game, have 2 builders on 2 districts in 2 different cities and neither of them seem to be able to accelerate the production of those districts. If I'm missing it what and where do I click?

The Royal Society grants the ability to accelerate district projects with builders, not district construction. You know, like launching the Moon Landing in the Spaceport as part of the science victory. So it appears you completely misunderstood the purpose of the Royal Society.
