Can't Build military academy

I have met all the requirements for building the military academy - I completed the scientific discovery and have built universities in 4+ cities, but I have yet to see the military academy appear in any of my cities as buildable in my production list.

What else could I be missing..

Have you had an army win a battle yet?

A victorious army is required to build a military academy. Meaning you need go get a great leader, use him to form your first army and get a victory with that army.

The requirements for military academy are that you must have the military tradition tech and that you must have had a victorious army. You do not need to complete the scientific discovery (whatever that is ), and you do not need any universities.
