Can't do anything in new game

Hi, first time posting here, sorry if it is the wrong place.

When I start a new game, I get the following screen:

If i left click, the UI loads like this:

That is all I can do when I start a new game. I have to force crash the game in order to quit. I have tried turning off everything I can think of and setting the graphic at the lowest possible. Still the same result.

Anything knows what to do?

Im on windows 10 and have upgraded my graphic drivers.

Start with the usual fix - Verify Game Cache in Steam. If there is a file that is corrupt, that will fix it.

Other than that ...

* Could delete The cache folder (in My Documents/My Games/Civilization Beyond Earth)
* Drivers (not only graphics, audio as well).
* Dx11 might be corrupt
* I even saw that one guy had steam running under Admin and that destroyed his fun.

Alright, I tried the things you suggested but that did not resolve the issue.

However, after writing back and forth with their support it turned out that installing the game to another hard drive did the trick.

I can now play civ again, yay!
