I'm trying to find my save files so i can copy and paste them into my steam folder but for some reason the save folder is not listed anywhere in the civ4 directory when i search for it or try to look for it manually by browsing with windows explorer (or w/e its called in vista).
Some things:
-I have civ4 complete and civ4 complete on steam installed in seperate locations. I just want to copy and paste the save file from my civ4 complete save folder thats not in steam and paste it in the steam save folder.
- I have windows vista.
- I am the administrator (I know this for a fact).
- The saves folder does not appear when i use windows search anywhere on my computer and yes i searched the whole computer.
- I can still load saves fine when i play the game it just doesn't appear when i search for the folder outside the game.
- I know exactly where the folder should be but it is not there. Is it hidden or something? If that's the problem how do i see it and copy and paste the files i want to?
Some additional things: When i browse through my folders there is no toolbar or anything so i cant click change the properties of the browser unless anyone knows how to do it without a bar. This is the only windows program without a toolbar at the top of the window for some reason. It has no title at the top while im browsing so i dont know if that is windows explorer or something else.
