Can't get map mod to work :(

After the Steam Workshop stuff started, I was quite enthusiastic about trying some mods. Especially some of the Earth-type maps.

But I can't get them to work!

The same thing happened with Yet Not Another Earth Map and with Perfect World (the names may not be exact, sorry). They just don't appear in the map list when I try to set up a game.

I tried the troubleshooting instructions they had in the map descriptions: Unsubscribe+Exit Steam+Delete Game Cache+Get Back to Steam and Redo Process. But nothing happened.

Any idea about what else I could try?

When in the Mod menu, click "Next" not "Back".

Thanks, I actually knew that. I did get it wrong at first, but then I noticed the Next button.

After I click Next, I see a list with the active mods. But then I still have to click Back to get to the normal menu, right? I hope so, because it doesn't seem to work otherwise.

Anyway, I just made another experiment and subscribed to several mods. I could clearly see the files being downloaded in the mod interface in-game. But I tried to play with the Nubia mod (a civ instead of a map) to see if that at least works and it doesn't... It seems I can't get mods to work at all!

:(

When you click "Back" all the mods you've selected are deactivated and you will play with vanilla setting.

You need to click "Next" then click "Single Player" at the top. I know it does not look like a button, and that's it's strange to have only that choice to continue... (side note: but I'm taking hope from that, that means MP Mods may be integrated at some point)

So Main Menu -> Mods (select your mods) -> Next (not back) -> Single Player

Damn... That is so effed up...

You're right, that's what I was doing wrong. It's all right now. I feel very stupid, but on the other hand it's really unintuitive.

Thanks a lot!

I did the same. The MODs simply does not work on my rig. I have no idea why, because with before G&K worked...
