Cant get the file to Load

Hi,

Been a long time but I thought I'd give the GOTM a try. I am playing w/o any of the Civ4 expasions. I have downloaded and intalled the latest HOF mod and have the 1.74 vers installed.

Once the game restarts, after selecting "load game" i get a message that says " The file you have selected is protected to ensure that the assets in your mod file have not been changed". Then the load fails and the game closes.

What am i doing wrong?

To solve your problem (I hope), you need these files.

The v3.13-patch for Beyond the Sword' modified some Vanilla and Warlords DLLs, and the HOFMod needs those updated files to run; so, you need to switch those files, even though you don't have any expansion

And don't overwrite your old DLLs, in case you still have some non-HOFMod-games going ...
