Can't Load GOTM

I get error message that Internet Explorer can't load GOTM from Civ3 Fanatic site... gives error message...can't find file...even though in the background the load file screen is running and the filesare shown moving across. I have new Sony and WinXP. Any suggestions, pls? thanks. Oh, secondly, is it best to load in WinZip? The Civ3 Fanatic site gives a choice. Thanks for any help.

You should be using something like WinZip. When it asks you to open or save the file, select save as if it's a .sav file. If it's .zip, you can open or save the file.
