Can't load save game after patch

Since the patch - every time I try and load my saved game from before the patch it crashes. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way around it I was in the middle of an epic game and really want finish it!

I'm guessing you're playing the deluxe edition? If so there's a hotfix out, probably next week.

how can i tell if i got the patch? does it automatically install? what is the number?

When you load it up you should've seen it updating/installing something via Steam. New patch's version number is l.0.0.62, can see the version number at the bottom of the main menu.
