So here's the deal,
i have a friend i always play Civ4 with, and although we both have BtS we always play Warlords since for whatever reason Vanilla and BtS always give us Out of Sync before we can complete a game.
Warlords for whatever reason never does ..
The real problem at hand now is that ever since he changed to Windows 7 (we used to both run Vista 32, i still do), we always get the 'other player is running a different version' message in Warlords.
The funny thing is .. we tried BtS and that still connects without any trouble.
We've both done a clean (re)install, used the exact same ways of patching, and are sure that the version numbers in the 'about this build' screen match.
I even read somewhere about another person who had a similair problem that he 'fixed' by creating a game through Pitboss .. but even that doesn't seems to work for us
Anyone with any suggestions?
