Hi, I have looked everywhere and just cant figure out how to set up the difficulty settings in scenarios for mutliplayer situations. When playing the scenario as single player its fine cause it lets you select the difficulty level at the beginning. But when running it under multiplayer and you load it up in the host game screen all those fields get disabled including the difficulty level drop-down.
In the scenario editor I 'Edit rules...' and under the 'General Settings' tab in the 'Artificial Intelligence' section I set the Default Difficulty Level to Demi-God...but...after only a few hours of playing with my friend we realised we had long since left the AI behind.
I even loaded the save game in C3MT save editor and found the AI difficulty setting to be set to much higher than ours. I reversed this so we were on Demi-god and all the AI players set to Monarch but after a few more hours play they were still struggling heavily to catch up to us.
I'm very confused as to how you set the difficulty with the scenario editor in the first place and what you should expect to see in the save game.
Any pointers?
Thanks, Chad.
