Can't start a new game?

I can't start a new game, it says "Loading, please wait" but instead of going to the screen of the leader with Sean Bean voiceover, it goes back to main menu. I can play scenarios but not the main game, please help.

Do you have any mods enabled?

Yeah, this sounds like the multi-mod loading issue. There's a patch on here that I'm sure someone can link to.

Verify integrity of game files and disable all mods
