Hello all,
I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if I'm having a bug - I can't seem to trigger a golden age with my GP. I got a first golden age from a GA, then a 2nd from Taj Mahal. Now I can't seem to trigger a golden age with my bunch of useless GA (in fact I got waaaaay more GA than expected, wondering if my game is bugged here too)...

Anyone got an idea?

you need a different great person to trigger a golden age. So, for instance, a GA plus the GS from Memphis in 12 turns (or sooner if you can make that happen). Seems odd that you got so many GAs unless you were trying to get them.

(note: it does tell you this in the hover text at the bottom left)

To elaborate on what Lymond said: each Golden Age requires one more Great Person than the last one did (not counting the Taj Mahal GA) and they have to be different types of GPs. So, for the second Golden Age, not counting the Taj, you can use one GA and one GE or GP or GM or GS but not two GAs.

Oh thanks it's clear now :low: I was sure I was missing something obvious...
And yeah the RNG decided to screw me royally and gave me 3 GA in a row from a city with 4GS+NE... In the end I used them to 3x bulb Communism.

I might not be the best person to give advice about playing this game since I can't win on price yet,but I think that only bulbing with GS is efficient. Every other GP gives a very small bulb. Exception might be bulbing theology with prophet. I had the same problem in one of my games. I needed GS for bulbing philo and I got 3 GA's from NE city. I had to research philo because of that:mad: But I saved GA's for later and chained 3 golden ages when it was time to build space parts.
