I think it would be kinda cool that if you capture an enemies captial, you should get some kind of bonus, like seeing troop movement for a certain amount of turns or something of the sort.

a cash bonus would be far more realistic- like 75 in the ancient age, 50 in the middle ages (cause the economy was crap during that period) 150 in the industrial ages, and 400 in the modern age

You will get a "capture the captial" bonus in C3C, just look at the New (Unofficial) C3C Press Release (Wednesday, July 16):

Conquering capital increases chance of cultural conversions

feh- I want money :)

Pah, I want the money AND the ability to trigger a civil war in that empires cities :p .
Of course, increased cultural conversions for capital capture ARE a step in the right direction, and gives you a decent incentive for going after the capital! Now, if only they make it difficult to relocate the capital, I'll be happy :D.

if you conquer the capital the city defense bonus should dessapear just to simulate that the spirit of your army is low, after all if you conquer the capital I guest the war is pretty much over. And if the AI somehow recovers the 'old capital" the center of the empire should move to it, unless the war when it was conquer is over.

PS. when you are helping another civ, and you conquer from the enemy one of their cities you should be given the option the give it back to the original owner or to put a new goverment or to raze it.

PS. when the AI declares peace to a civ, it should also automatically declare peace to the other civs that it is currently at war with, isn't that hystorically right

Why? Civil disorder is not commen in RL when a capial is taken

As it is now, when the capitol is taken, nothign happens. The governement automatically shifts to some other site. By having a civ going into anarchy 2 things would occur

1) the time in anarchy would represent the time it takes for the remaining government leadership to restablish a working governement and

2) place a little more emphasis on the value of the capitol. In RL, once the capitol falls, the war is over. Not the case in CIV.

I apoligize for not explaining in my first post, an oversite on my part but I have talked about it in some other threads and I just assume that everyone follows everything I say ;)

Sort of an expansion off the last post, the AI should try to sue for peace when they lose their capital regardless of whether the arbitrary five turns the AI waits before talking to you has passed.
Maybe they would negotiate for peace just in exchange for the return of the capital (or even exchange another city for it, god forbid!), and possibly even agree to become your vassal depending on how badly they were beaten/outmatched.

Also, Captials should be more likely to do a culture flip back to the original owners than other cities

Well, there's plenty of examples of countries that have gone on fighting after the capital fell, and some have even won the war in the end. I agree that losing one's capital should be a bigger blow than it is now, but it should not be the effective end of one's empire.

An idea that has been repeatedly suggested is that when you lose your capital, your FP becomes a regular Palace. If you have no FP, you instead get some kind of "temporary seat of government" that does not give the full corruption-busting effects of a proper Palace. You'd, of course, be able to rebuild your Palace eventually.
