Caravans

I am finding that my Caravans generate the same amount of gold regardless of how far (or near) the trade city is in distance and regardless of the originating or destination city sizes. It could be just my set up, but don't know.

Has this been experienced before?

I am playing 2.91.

This is normal for RoM.

i've observed once that a caravan generated a bit more than the default. however that caravan was on the other side of the world. so for all practical purposes it's the same amount everywhere
