1.0.1-3 Fleet Commander movement stuck at 3 no matter what

Hi,

I have experienced this bug in multiple games now. In this particular game I am using the Chola unique Fleet Commander, but it’s been the same in other games when not playing Chola.

Occasionally my Fleet Commander will have 6 movement which I suspect is what it’s meant to be, but the majority of the time they’re stuck at 3 no matter if packed or empty and regardless of policies.

It’s really frustrating because clearing all the ocean tiles is taking forever.

This bug for me is linked to Shipbuilding mastery. If you don't go for the mastery, movement is fine. I had hoped the latest patch would finally fix this, but no luck. It worked for a little while but after a reload it was broken again. PLEASE FIX THIS FIRAXIS.

This is fixed in the community bugfix mod.

 
I tried the bug fix mod, still can't get my fleet commanders to move more than three.

I think you have to have the mod installed before you research shipbuilding 2. Such an infuriating bug, I can't believe they haven't fixed it yet. It also makes it so you can't coastal raid so no more dispersing IPs or getting goody huts on the coast.

Truly an embarrassment for Firaxis.
 
Anyone notice if they have finally fixed this fleet commander bug losing extra moves after researching Shipbuilding 2? Even with the bug fix mod active all game I still saw it crop up after a game load in my previous game. I don't see it in the patch notes but maybe I missed it.
