Anyone here watched this series lately. I found even though its like 20 years old, its still pretty good. I wish someone would carry on Sagan's work and make a updated version with the new discovered we've had since it was made.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is doing a show for PBS called Nova ScienceNow that -- from descriptions, at least -- is somewhat similar, but I've never seen it for myself and cannot vouch.

Sagan made an updated version in the '90s, a few years before he died.

Yeah, but the advanced in this millenium and in the late 90s were phenominal. All the new planets that were found and stuff.

Grew up on that stuff, the TV series and the associated book both. If I were going to swear an oath on a book this is what I'd use.
