Yeah, as far i see, guardians gain xp, when "investigating" about crimes. This is cool little thing.
I was about to ask about this same thing. It's true it's a cool feature.

That's... something I'd be very LAUGHING at seeing, because... it's so unlikely to happen.Hm i wonder.. If you play the map with cosmos and get pushed out from earth, you cannot return, lol. I did not see any units which can be build not in earth and capture cities in earth.
Duno, it's just theoretically situation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯That's... something I'd be very LAUGHING at seeing, because... it's so unlikely to happen.
First, AI totally ignores Space, so it can't be AI that gets pushed out.
Second, how bad must you play to let it happen to you, while at the same time being able to Space travel?
LOOOL!
It's definitely not fully tuned, lol.View attachment 708196
Well, that escalated quickly. Few turns ago there was 2002AD. Historical Accurate Calendar give me surprise)
I want to see those peoples, who go to sleep in 2002 and wake up more than five millions years later)It's definitely not fully tuned, lol.
Startegy thru this forum was keeping track for a while. Then this Site took a hit was hacked and the count of downloads was gone. Before that which was over 5-6+ years ago the last recorded number of D/L thru this site was over 250K. I don't know how many D/Ls thru ModDb or other D/L sites. Is there a count somewhere that keeps track of how many people have downloaded Caveman2Cosmos from the very beginning? I am having loads of fun playing thew UEM Mod as Ragnar of the Scandinavians and am currently getting a Memory Allocation Figure about every 4 turns!!!
Yep, that's the limit. You could reduce the load by throwing out some models and then moving most of the rest out of .fpks, but that would make any mod load very long (take for example We the People). Or you could play smaller maps. Some people benefited from using Process Lasso to purge memory just before it exceeds this limit, some didn't - depends on how soon you reach it, if it's right after loading a save, then it's probably too late, unless you wipe a ton of units and not needed civs in WB.it looks like they occur when I reach about 2.3GB RAM
Reduce units in game. Your choice how to do so.I'm playing a large space map (108x200) at Marathon speed and have reached the Transcendent era. I am now experiencing frequent crashes to the desktop (nearly every turn. I am using the latest SVN (11638). In your opinion, is this the most stable? I know the cause is most likely using more memory than a 32bit exe can handle (occasionally I get messages saying there has been an allocation error) (from Task Manager it looks like they occur when I reach about 2.3GB RAM plus about half a GB GPU memory). I would like to finish this game since I only have about 30 techs to go. Any suggestions on how to free up RAM without crippling game play would be helpful.
I am playing Full Screen 1920x1200 resolution with the Low level enabled. I will try experimenting with that. (Sometimes talking about a problem helps me understand it a bit more.)
I have tried applying the 4GB patch (not sure that is doing anything). I have run the Windows 10 Memory Diagnostic without errors. Looking at the sensor data in HWInfo, nothing seems to overheating.
I have struggled with the learning curve (a good bit of the fun) and am looking forward to starting another when I finish this one. The game has improved so much since I first started it. It is a shame that so many people who have contributed so much have moved on. Thank you to all.
Process Lasso looks interesting even if doesn't end up helping.Yep, that's the limit. More units seems to shorten the time it takes to get to the 2.3 GB limit but I frequently get up to about 7000 units and am able to play with frequent use of Shift+F5. I was able to get about 150 - 200 MB less RAM usage by switching to smaller screen resolution.Reduce units in game. Your choice how to do so.
When they were revealing the new mechanics a while ago, I pretty explicitly said this, lol.Is it just me or does Civ VII look an awful lot like a simplified and streamlined version of C2C? Maybe it's not as similar as I think, but from the previews it seems like a lot of the features are things that C2C has had for a while.
