I am on latest SVN and i can only set Science-Slieder to 50% ,and only have +5Gold/Round.
I am in the beginning of Ancient Era , so i think @JosEPh_II have done a good job with his latest changes to Civics!
 
Well sorry but I can't be held resonsible for your lack of memory and the demeaning tone in your reply was downright annoying and inappropriate. If you have some attitude or memory issues, they are not my fault and I am not aware of them nor do I want to be but I do expect that if I write something to a forum, person replying to it has the decency to properly address it in its context.


Back to the money issue then. I am currently at late classical era and pour over 1350 gold of income per turn into my coffers. Tech/culture sliders and civics are at current maximums so yeah, definitely far too much money income in V39. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Crashes sometimes randomly when moving on the map but this is an old "feature".
Sorry Tajo but I do not have a memory nor attitude problem towards you or your posts. I reply when necessary to many posters. It is Not my concern to memorize your every post.

As I have stated, in the Civics Discussion thread and the SVN thread, games started before my latest Civic changes and then updated to latest SVN will not see as much change as a new or newer game (still in early Preh Era).

Now if you decide that I'm still annoying or inappropriate you can put me on Ignore. I won't mind at all.

  • Chopping up the FPKs smaller so github doesn't scold me as much
  • Updating the FPK scripts to quit if it looks like something isn't right (like directories exist when they shouldn't)

Since this commit is branch only, add "branch only" after SVN number, just like Anq was doing his branch updates.

Also this is why we do fpk repackages only just before releases :)

I'm not sure what ISDN is exactly?
 
Half way between a 56k modem and ADSL. So not the *slowest* connection, but the second slowest.
Ah... yeah the SVN speed kinda sucks which is why we do usually only rework the FPKs just before release and leave the art files loose until just before a release when we start working on getting them packaged. I'm liking your approach to this - we could leave the FPKs to be packed on the user side on the SVN I think and let the release versions contain final versions. Some SVN users may have to figure this out but you had an interesting batch exe concept that might make it work for those who just want an icon to double click when they go to play after an update.

Well I would like that, but other people don't, so for now I have put the FPKs in both my SVN branch and git. I was just breaking them up from 100MB down to 50MB each because it makes git like them more.

I don't think anyone has said it's a bad idea - some have questions about it and it isn't yet comfortable nor clear what's happening with that concept. Introducing it into the SVN environment first would be helpful in preparing for that.

Make that pink square corporation black-white one, since that one corporation had black-white icon.
I think it was Fashion House, as there is F H in dark pink.

I like new icons.

There is some issue with the alpha not being 100% black in the pink area (area separating each icon), on the small gamefont file, I'm looking into fixing it.

If you use the GameFont editor on the files it should fix any issue like that. I think there is a link to it in the C2C Modders documentation page.

Agreed - it works like a charm and is completely flawless. Highly suggest it.
 
How long can I expect this SVN update to take now? It's stuck on an infinite number of FPKs that each load slower than all the FPKs did in the past.

So much frenetic change happening, but how much of it for the better?

I've got a repeatable CTD on 10824, but I'm waiting to try it against the latest SVN before I report it.
