CCTP Working Version Progress

a tip for you: split the mod into two different downloads: one for the artwork and one for the scripts/xml/code. The reason being the artwork is the massive part of the files and hardly changes, while the code changes more easily for bug fixing and has a very high compression ratio. Then 90% of the time we only need to download (and you upload) a 20mb file rather than a 500mb file

Damn new age got to reload my keyboard lol.

That splitting of files is a good idea and a when i may say it not a new one.
To speed up loading times, it would be highly suggested to included all icons into one superior.

This is needed and not on my to do list, shure i would love to see it but my time is resereved for major issues.
 
After banging my head again, i decided to play first my V2.
Not that i fineshed now, its more that i need a general gaming feedback.

To all how are interessed at it i have more then 1500 Modbuddy hours.

Finished up the manpower issues and now fully working.

Reactivated some old CCTP Monopoly features.....
Also starts with the complete recreation of CCTP, you may or may not not it when playing.
Game ins should be now more be clear.

Still needs help with SQL!!!!!



Ok thats sayed, back to basics.

When i started i got many hours of plays, but since the last year most of my time is used with modbuddy.
So keep in head this is still a working version under progress.
 
Looking forward to trying out V2. V1 on a huge map is CTD for memory allocation after 1 turn in the industrial era for me.

But iam ready when iam ready.
Got realy big problems with fu:crazyeye:cking modbuddy, have to recreate the whole mod because of massiv bugs. (endess recreation of sections for exampe or the loss of complete entries)
Dont ask me how many hours i spent the last two weeks on this.


So i reinstalled modbuddy reinstalled my updates and started again.

This is very time consuming, and iam working on a 40 hours job, have a reallive and also got birthday this days.

So i promisied a new version and i never broke my word.
So pleae, be patient there will be a new mayor version, rember iam still the last active member here....

All is now recreated, but since i cant load my former settings i have to manually put them all in.

Its not only a little update, its a mayor update, with new lua functions and a massiv change in many sections.

Will be worth the time, believe me.

I know uploaded a buggy version, rather then uploaded my fixed version.
I started and implende new functions and breaked my modbuddy version.
Since that i tried several ways to recreate files.
But iam not lucky with it, damn my karma bust be bad this days.


If iam stressed this days, yes iam.
If iam going to release a new version, hell yes.
When will it be, cant give a date.


Sorry mates, but iam no programmer, iam just a dude that studied history and one that try to keep this mod alive.
My time lacked this days because of my part of the PaleaoSeti research in EU dont (dont ask me).
When this will be done i will start working on getting my files working.

Thank Youuuu very much for saying this i thought i was the only one with this issue. It is game breaking as there is no way around this at all. Can the mod author or someone please help shed some light into this frustrating issue thank you. I have been wanting to play this mod for a long time and now i got the pc to play it and i can't.:(
 
mod is dead until gilga gets some free time/help. at the moment its unplayble
I'm ready to help, I just need some guidelines to go by as to where to start.

Regarding the policy-bug:
Go to my documents in your users folder, find 'my games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS/'. Locate CCTP, open it. In the shared-folder, delete Advancement Screen.
 
Thanks for your help your suggestion worked but now when it comes time to select a religion i select the first two enhancers and click on the found religion button but nothing happens the button is blacked out sort of. Any ideas how to fix this? Again thank you for your help.:)

Edit: Lol) nevermind i figured out the issue it turns out that this mod grants you a a bonus enhancer instead of the usual two when you found a relgion. Already loving this mod. Other than a few graphic glitches i am having a blast.
