CCTP Working Version Progress

That is actually easy to do. In the civvworlds file there is this line:
<MaxActiveReligions>7</MaxActiveReligions>

I have played with as many religions as there were civs(used strange religions mod for extras). If Gilga wants to add I'd be glad to write an update file. Might could even add as a choice when setting up game.

Sure why not.
The point of limiting them is, that not all Civs can get one, but for me this is immaterial.;)
 
Ok the policies are incorporated again, now i need to adjust them.....
Due the fact that the vanilla policies are so hard implendet in CCTP, i will not remove them now!

But in the future we will remove them and only use our policies.

So thats said, still days away from a release, step by step.....
 
What if you have added more than 9 possible religion? It would be interesting.

Here is a quick mod if you want to have more possible religions. Just open the WorldOptions.xml and change the number of religions to what you want for world size. This is just a simple mod, I will look to see if I can set it as an option in setup for cctp when I can.

Seems like many work will be needed while buffing the policies.
For example if you took some policies and wonders that reduce the cost of buying buildings/units, this can end with gratis buildings/units in every city.

Also i need to adjust the costs of each era to avoid a overflow of money.

At least all policies show up, the ones i didnt implented are the ones that would be a better ideology. But this will a future project, for now iam happy all works fine.
 
Some infos about the current state of CCTP.

*The new era Pre-Historic is implendet (thanks Gyogen)
*Iam rewritting the techs to fit with the over worked eras.
*Some eras still have more techs then others, but in general its better balanced then before.
*Policies are back,we have now 30 differend policy trees.
*Some new units are included, many new wonders and buildings.
*Overworked ai, now the ai is much better then before, dont play on decimatus unless you like to get kicked in the ass...
*Some of Whowards mods will also incorporated like "River Connection" and "Air Routes", hopefully i can implend also a cargo air unit....
*Many other changes, the list is to long to post it here at this moment......

Ok thats all for now, back to coding...
 
Some quick infos about the current work....

*Techtree is heavy expanded so far, it contains now more then 430 technologies at all.
*As a tribut to Alpha Centauri and Spatzimaus, we included some of the known Techs and Wonders.
*Replacement of the Prehistoric barbarian Caveman unit, the Wolf is now ruling this time.
*Sulfur is now also included as a strategic resource, that is needed for the musketman and the cannon.
*Several new units (surprise)
*Yield system still under work...
*Flavors still under work....
*Like i posted above, many changes on so many places.

Thats why we call it Neo, it will take more time then planned to release Neo at all.
Yeah, you might think this is a bad message, but dont get me wrong, we need time, to put all the things into Neo we would like to see before we start the development team.

Ok thats all for now, a lot of work is still ahead, but the final result will be worth the waiting time.

Maybe you could add some polish wonders ; ]

We could probably do some. Gilga is pretty involved getting the things he wants in Neo polished, but I could work some up and see where we could add them. Maybe we could do a couple of these: Wieliczka Salt Mine,Malbork Castle,Wawel Castle,Zamosc.

These are the only ones I know, if there's another let me know.

The problem is , iam no artist (hmm no digital artist), this means i cant do splashes or icons, without loosing massiv time, i would better spend on other points.

So i will code all related stuff, but i need icons, splash and text entries, then it will show up in Neo:D

Can you add in later eras upgrade tracks on the highway?

Iam not sure if i understand your question right.

You mean upgrades for the roads or the building highway?

This is nothing that i planned for Neo now.
There is still so much other work to do, and this wll take so many hours to finish it.

Once we finished Neo, and have the developement team active, we can talk about someting like that.

But until then there are, like is said, more important parts that need my/our attention.
 
With a quick look, I'm not even sure this can be done, at least not w/o changing dll. I can find the art file for routes, but no where in files where it is defined

It could be done by a replacement, and a massiv workarround. But this would take a large ammount of time, and could also create a compatibility problem with other mods.

Also there is no real use for that in the current state of CCTP, because iirc there was a bug when some unit moves x spaces in one turn.
Iam not sure if this bug is alredy fixed....
 
And you could introduce a cosmetic change, change the color of the icon of Polish black and red on white and red?
