CCTP Working Version Progress

Setuped CCTP now on my PC as a new running Version.
Not included yet White rabbit, Mapsupport, Eventmanager.

Last thing that need to be run is the techtree, will test it now.
But iam tired, so the next release will be very soon and of course it will be CCTP V3.5

This is my last error, its the reason while iam quit today, will return soon. Until then maybe someone could help me in pointing out what iam doing wrong.

Got the Techtree.lua now show correct up, but now i have broken text strings.
Iam nearing the released, just need to fix the Text bug.

Also didnt activated all stuff in CCTP like Mapsystem or Whiterabbit.
 
Ok will upload a Alpha Version of CCTP V3.5.
There are some minor textissues when open the CCTP Tech owerview, but doent know why.

Like i posted above are not all features of the original CCTP V3 activated. The files are in the modfolder but not used yet.
When i can manage to get it also correct working i will update it.

I know there are still some mislinking Textes from vanilla and the Techtree needs reorder.
Iam planning to add some new techs to the modern era in the future and maybe to some othere eras to.
This need much work since its not easy to add new technolgies easy into this mod.
For the old UIs iam looking to see if i can do a work around for them also added some new Uis.
Whowards Dll Mod is now compatible with CCTP V3.5 and only needs to be activated along with CCTP V3.5.

Also Horems great looking Resources are now fully included and should show all up correctly.

The policies are overworked and should now also work correct. We now use the system of dummy buildings to get what we are looking for.
The Religion system got many new beliefs, this should help and allow the player to focus on there style of play.
Improvements got some changes and addons, for tweaking i updated some Civs to work better with this.

Gloabal Ai and Flavor Ai also overworked, the Ais should act better, but who knows.

With the latest patch we can play multiplayer with mods now? Has anyone tried this mod in mp yet?

There for it needs mp support in the mod settings, but what more is needed i dont know.
 
I got the 3.5 ver. (There was no mention of the tweak so I was using only 3.5) I am seeing the CCTP resources on the map (amber, Aloe, berries) but they do not do anything. They have no yield. Civipedia also gives them no yield. There are files in the unused directory that looks like it would give some of them yields.

Its all in the mod, there is one or two missing update setting for the database.
This causes this problem.

damn was about to play this mod too now i can't if it's like that. o well will wait for next version.

When the time comes that the modern version is relatively stable, it may be the moment to invest some time in changing the meta-labeling of everything so it doesnt say one thing and represent another. It might be a valuable investment of time in the end so people stop asking why it says 1 thing and then says another within the same inconsistant label.


The contents look really promising, but at the moment it looks unplayable because of all of the gaps. When youre next version comes out, ill check it out. The new techs and new wonders alone seem promising. I have a ton fo ideas to improve play and balance, but little experience actually writing code or modding, and only vague idea of actually identifying problems within the lua log, but ill help in anyway i can.

The version i released this days was only my first try of a complete setup of CCTP on my modboddy.
Was happy after i managed a lot of stuff to working, but it was always a testing version.
Well i didnt played CiV much this days, in fact i coded since the release massiv stuff.
Since that iam becoming aware of the dimension of this mod and its possibilities and where i would like to see it in the near future.

So i learned a lot from releasing a testing version;), maybe this will affects the time it will take for the next update.
 
Anyway Modern era is broken dont know what chrome has done there.

Posted it in another thread. But i think i found the problem.
It looks like chrome has done some location errors and then overseen it.
Some technologies how whould fit into modern era are placed instead into digital era, because the collums of this catergories are just converse. Also some names are missing in languages, i think all cattrees are working correct.
Maybe fires can proof this to.
Will test it as soon as i have the time, if the corrections will avoid the broken modern era.
Still finishing up current work.
 
Was a little bit quit here, so i post the last developement status.
For some reasons my modboddy went crazy.
So i decided to make a clean new CCTP V3.5, this means a better looking, better managed Mod.
Since my sql changes are not always working i decided to make it easy for everybody, and also for future changes. In fact i coded the most in xml, but so that you can translate it fast if needed.
Also i redesigned the techtree up to the industrial era.
You know the modern era is still broken, we have the choice ether inluding a new era or removing chromes work so far.
Also some little changes here and there....

Ok it will take some more time maybe a week or so until the next release of CCTP V3.5.
But then a it will be a better playable version, at least i so hope.
 
Well if current modern era gives unfixable bug...maybe its better to rework it from scratch..adding new era the way you know it will work could be faster than solving bug of someone else.

Since you want to rework whole mod to be more profi and easier to work with it would be logical call. Unless its too hard to make new era.

I quess no/new era is better than old unfixable one.

The problem is not related with the tech..xml files, in fact its only the TechTreeBFFT.lua file that causes problems.
There are 3 new collums added Revolutionary Warface, Envirement and Molecules.
But Molecules exist now two times.
Ether cleaning the lua file, or adding all missing features to the related lua files.
One must be done, but for the new eras we need icons.


Anyway my doings will not be harmed with this problems.
Also i need this to beginn a new start.
 
if you can provide me with some blank icon templates than i can help with the icons.

Sorry all i have is from Sukritact, and it can be found here on civs.
Maybe Horem can provide some help he is also great in creating art.
 
i'd just need the icons but blank so i can add pics to them. i can't do anything involved with actual modding only graphically. i may be able to create some new 3d unit graphics also but they won't be animated.
