CD stuck in CD drive

I'm trying to fix a laptop with a CD stuck in it. None of the usual ways of fixing this work.

There is no pinhole to stick a pin into.
There is no button to press (there's just a slot, no tray)
Right-clicking and selecting Eject doesn't work.
Taking apart the laptop didn't even help because one of the screws won't come out.

The drive thinks it's empty.

Any ideas?

Are you using a macbook or just a slot-loading drive?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpWieIoBBrk -- You could try what this guy is doing because as far as I know, slot-loading drives dont have an emergency eject pinhole.

Thanks--turns out the person whose computer I was working on didn't have a CD in there...they just thought they did.
