It has been two weeks since we sent our proposal to CDZ, and we've still heard nothing back.

Our message was a good chance for them, unless they have great relations with Ama, as we suspect.
They were quick in sending us the confirm, but now almost 2 weeks are gone and i doubt we'll never see an answer from them.
As i already said and as Altria seems to agree, time to finish this ETT. Ama is tied by a NAP for some 30 more turns, CDZ is too faraway to be a problem in the short term, Quat is goin' to be smashed by Mavs catapults. No chance they can recover shortly.
Once we have enough land units for Mavs, time to build more Frigates and EIs to start dominating the seas. Are we Dutch for something?

I don't know. Don't forguet that they are right after Q in our list and giving them the ability to build Ironclads early might make the task significantly dificult.
They seem to be taking their time with the reply, tho. Probably even wating for us to sugar the deal a bit.

Every member of the ETT can give the coal, I think they get it from one if not from us, then from Ama.

Why are CDZ our next goal and not Ama. I don't think, that Ama would be still sitting on their hands, when/during we conquer CDZ after Quat, do you? I would like to conquer Quat together/with CDZ we the isle they the spore; the move of Ama in the last 10 turns is very interesting (against us not Mer). Additional I want if there is a chance RR from them.

I very much agree with this. I don't think we should depend on Amazon and CDZ standing by idly while we attack Quat. We should make sure we garrison border cities, if we haven't already.

Well I do think Amazon will honor the NAP until it's expires in 1500 AD and so should we.

Yes, I would think so. We are still under the ETTT.
Under ETT we don't trade techs, we give them; like CDZ gives RR to Ama.
Why should CDZ not fight together with us against Quat? Ama has Problems with mer, they 've recruited now ~30 rifles, I think they 'll conquer the mer isle, but what is CDZ doing, nothing?

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what CDZ's overall strategy is. But I really have no idea what has been happening on that side of the map, since I haven't logged in for a while.
I have no objection to offering CDZ coal. If everyone agrees, I could send a short message.
