Does anyone know the name of the song that plays when you're in the diplo screen with the Celts?

I think a lot of the ingame music has been composed for the game (apart from the obvious ones in the BGM)
My most recent game had Brennus in and I was the same! Loved it. I love folk/celtic music anyway. Just sat there when I met him listening to the music lol.

Don't think it's based on a specific Celtic theme, but I can't be sure. If the Celts appear in a Civ 5 expansion their music will be based on a specific Celtic theme.

I looked through the XML, and all the tags just say things like "Brennus early", that kind of thing. I'm thinking that they might have had music composed with an ethnic feel for the civs. I don't recognize any of the Celt diplo music as songs outright. Perhaps they're mash-ups of old Celtic folk tunes. I really don't know, sorry.

What about movies, is that music real? Same logic might be applied to operas!

Sorry for 4 years thread Necromancy :O .... but I just need to know what They are singing in "Brennus_Late" diplo music. It's so amazing !! I cannot stop listening to it ! ^^ Especially the gril singing voice feels so "homey" and lovely. (and besides what's the point in starting a new thread if it's already here - I was googling for my querry and found this thread) Anyway All I can gather from hearing is something like:

"vernihore, merenimore , sfernimore, hore-hore-hore mereniavi" -disclaimer- it's what I hear and is probably wrong except Im pretty sure about hearing : "vernihore" there.

I asked my mother (she's a librarian) about that "vernihore" word and she said that pol. Wernyhora (ukr. Вернигор&#1072 meaning literally pol. "Waligóra" eng. "Bashmountain" was a folk legend figure in Polish and Ukraine myths and literature :O He was a bard and supposedly foretold future events in his songs. Apart from that Im pretty clueless about that song.

Please if You are Celtic, Gealic, Irish, Scottish, Welsh and can understand what they are singing pretty please enlighten me and maybe even post translated lyrics (with lady and the guy parts) - pretty please with a cherry on top ! Im very interested because it's awesome music in my opinin

It's not "Wernyhora": it's "Fear an Dùin Mhòi", which is Scottish Gaelic for "[the] Man of Dunmore". The song (which is also called Fear an Dùin Mhòir) begins in 0:51 of this video:
