Before we start you should convert your Height to centimeters all you need to do is google lets say 69 inches in centimeters and google calulator should figure it out like so http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...icial&q=+70+inches+in+centimeters&btnG=Search

If you need to do your kilos to lbs like so http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...n-US:official&q=122+kilos++in+lbs&btnG=Search

Here is my question: Which is the higher number you height in centimeters or weight in lbs?

178 lbs = 14.5% body fat for me ...very clsoe to what I should be :king:

198 centimeters to 280 lb....
6'6"

I'm 182.88 cm tall, about 195 lbs.

What does this indicate?

Its hard to really get anything out of these numbers if you ask me, other then your out of shape or your on the thin side.

182 cm
186 lbs

Slightly stalky, but healthy?

Damn straight.

Thats just the thing though. I'm not out of shape in the least. Despite the fact that I may be a little stocky shaped, I'm in better shape and healthier than most other people in my age group who may be skinnier than me.

To bad BMI doesn't really mean much...

you're basically asking BMI

http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/

my BMI = 17.8

Actually I really don't like bmi because for people like me with an extra 30 or 40 lbs of muscle over the average (mostly from having to carry around all of the weight :mischief: :mischief: )

and 14 to 17 % is considered ideal (doctor's advice wise in any case the diff. between that body builder or swimmer lean is only 10 pounds or so)

and it just so happens that my ideal weight is very close to my ht. in centimeters.

Body fat testing is the way to go but, I do think that ceti-lbs is more accurate than bmi for more muscluer types. Just an observation, wanted to see about other people.

I think that this comparison between pounds & centimeters tells only, that the taller you are the bigger difference in favour of pounds (and vise versa in the opposite direction). - that's because height affects only in one dimension, where as weight affects in three dimensions.

177.8 centimeters --> 135 pounds

Yup, I'm a stringbean.

184 cm 209 lbs. So, I suposse i should lose 25 pounds to rech ideal weight.

It can be done with cms and kgs though and you obtain the same results. (it works for men only): You must weight as many kgs as centimeters you exceed a meter in height. So, if my weight is 95 kg and i am 184 cm tall i should weigh 84 kg.
