CFC has reached critical mass

that's weird, it's different each time I reload the page. First it was "There is no life without Narz"

Inform me, what's so critical about this?
What's this thing with giant death robots? I know there's a finnish band called Giant Robot...
What's going on with the radioactivity and monkeys?

And what's so special about googling "giant death robots"? I just don't get it.

CFC being the 100 and something most used fourm online as it is. Has monoplised the terms, just a sort of off topic gloating ;)

bassicly we are all overinflaging our egos for being cfcers. either enjoy it aaglo, or just don't burst our buble. I suggest enjoying it, its fun.

I thought it was something like that :) (just checking)
Inflating one's ego has never been a bad thing ;)

But still I'm completely familiar with that giant death robot -thing? Where, when and why did that got started?

i'll leave that to Perfection to answer, mostly cause he started it, and has a link in his sig.

Trust me man, it simply isn't worth getting curious about and there are so many other things that CFC can be proud of - aside from this extremely private, CFC in-joke.

Anyway, afaik, Perfection came up with some nerdy, geeky, totally teenage kind of term - "Giant Death Robot" (note that its make up is much like that of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle"). What it means, why he said it, how it has gone on, is perhaps interesting when viewed through a set of popular culture glasses - or if you're Perfection. But that's about it and CFC is far from being representative of the net's wider popular culture. If a regular user of CFC takes such a view of the term, you can probably imagine how much of a crap a non-CFC user out in the great wide web makes of it.

What I find funny is, it means nothing to many people on here, yet they love to talk about it. It helps them feel a sense of belonging, even if they don't know what it means. I guess you could say that I've just gone and done that myself. :suicide:

Anyway, love you Perf, but I find the whole GDR thing almost equivalent to the fame of Paris Hilton. You could, I guess, find that flattering in a way. :ack:

I've been on here for years, I'm quite suprised at the volume of traffic it handles now but I guess it reflects more on the game than you might think. The OT forum appeals to me for the same reasons as the game.
I've only recently started using the gaming forums again as I've started playing IV in earnest (Monarch, Lol!).

HAHA!
That perfection's giant death robots -thread is just hilarious
Prepare to eat 500 cubic meters of pure energy

Unexpectedly, the value of Perfection (in my book) suddenly experienced a nudge upwards

I applaud my fellow CFCers for this achievement. May we go on to conquer the internet and rule the planet.

This came up 5th when I googled Elta
http://boardreader.com/t/Off_Topic_57945/Nevada_Primary_259702.html

Kind of creepy how they have the number of "authors" on the side :scared:
That is pretty cool! :D

My #4 is "RE: I'M looking for a good lip gloss has anyone tried Narz? - Yahoo! Answers". I never thought of the stuff as lip gloss before but if that's what they want to use it for. :D

I didn't find any of my CFC threads until page 6 (how'd you get those stats)?

I didn't see you under Elta (on page 1) but evidently you are also a skin product. :D

"Anyone use Elta MD UV Daily Spf 40? How does it do under makeup?"

If I search for Slozenger, or Abaddon, I get LOTS of hits for me here or on other forums.

No surprise really.

Actually Abaddon is not original, its Slozenger that gets me all the google hits
