I will come forward along with whoever else is back, but not to the front. I will try and build a contraption that can help defeat the spiders, possibly a crude stone throwing device?

That is exactly what I mean. Personally, I do not feel safe back here with very few weapons, especially when most combat people are up front.

The party gangs up in threes and takes on the spiders!
"We can take 'em!" sneers a spider. "Sixteen legs are better than eight, after all!"
"For Cataphracts!" says you-know-who. "CHAAAARGE!!!"
Xen, Superevie, and Gengis Khan gang up on the first spider and immediately give it three beatings. "That hurt!" it wails.
Thrawn's group plays Tic-Tac-Toe on the spider with their rocks. The spider is not pleased after a single cat's game.
"Yarrg! Nasty things will prevail!" The first spider swipes the air the first time but manages to hit Xen and Gengis Khan.
"Hey, how'd you do that?" says the other one. "Maybe I should try that." It misses Thrawn's group three times. "Is that how you do it?"
"AHHH, they hit me in the mandible!"
"Is something wrong, Shnare?" Unfortunately the spider asks this too late, as Japanrocks12 beats it in with his rock.
"Avenge me, comrade!" gasps the arachnid as it breathes its last.

The remaining spider realizes the new situation and begins to hurriedly spin a white flag.

I also think we should try to get munzy to pick up the medic class, my cut is looking infected. Didn't we get any experience from killing the one spider?
