CFC ConQUEST ~ An Epic RPG

Everyone in the group will talk over what to do next. It's Xen's job to voice the consensus. :)

Along with other, leadery things...hmm, perhaps you could all alternate as leader?

If you're worried about your class' power, there's a lot more to them than I have described.

Won't be able to do the game today; I have to be off the comp all day. :(

as leader, I veto such an action :p (not really, we need to see how the first game works befo anything like that is decided ;))

Hurry! I need to go to Boy Scout Camp in 2 days!

I agree- well cubes, what are we gonna do first?

All right...it begins!

THE GAME BEGINS NOW

It has been a normal day on Civilization Fanatics. You have all been posting in the usual threads, talking about the same, usual things. Anti-tank spearmen. Robotic arm-controlling monkeys. String puns. A normal day in a normal life.

Each of you are just about to post in the genius "DRAW Your Own Story" thread when you feel something...odd. It's not painful, nor is it disturbing. Almost a feeling of deja vu...you may have had it before.

That's when it happens: your world falls in pitch-black darkness. CFC feels long-gone as you fall into what seems like a never-ending abyss. You keep falling...and falling...and falling....

Falling....

Falling....

Landed.

You are standing in a large, dark room with stone walls. The ceiling cannot be seen from it being so high. Looking down you see that you're standing on a bright circle emblazoned with your avatar. Pan across the room...there are eight other Civ Fanatics! Each of you rush over and greet each other, despite the cold, foreboding nature of this place. After greetings are over, each of your eyes cannot help but be drawn to an opening in a wall: an elaborately-decorated portal that seems to beckon you towards a long hallway that doesn't appear to have an end. You can tell that it leads westward, because one of you has a compass. However, as soon as you verify this, the compass crumbles to dust.

There is only way out. Is it safe? Or will it lead to something more...?

lol- hmmm I recognize this from somwere...where, oh wear have I hear that opening before...could it be... myst!:D (well we have to admit, it about the only one that would make sense I suppose)

but now what do we do?

seems to me that there is only one option- we go through that door, though i suppose we couls stay here and send out our scout, or leave someone (or two) behind and let them investigate the walls while the rest of us go fourth and, uhhh...explore, Superevie, your with me ;)

I'm going in! :)

I will stay behind until initial reports from the scout, at which point I will try and help figure out what materials need to be obtained to further our advance.

The assasin fears no mortal. I'm going in.

I am going to the portal.

Edit: Evie, we will need some of your abilities, you should come too.

my own thoughts on the matter :)

Plan A-
two people stay behind, and investigate the details of the room, considering that compass crumbeld to dust, just about anything is possible, even if it is reminisent of an episode of "Scooby Doo" ;)- the rest of the people then walk down the passage, and explore it, when we find somthing we can decide what to do there, or, we can split up inot two further groups

the groups would be as such-

group 1
My self (negotiator)
Thrwn (scout)
Superevie (Soldire)

group 2
Plexus (Mafia)
Japanrocks12 (tracker)
Gengis Khan (targeteer)

and Puglover(sorry :/) can tell the guys who stayed behind (naervod, a Technician stays by choice, munzy because he has no specialty)

plan B- more or less plan A, except every one goes down the passage, and at the end we split up into three groups, or two large ones (same teams)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the reasoning behind the group (1 & 2, not the third, stay behind group) choices-

-they are as balenced as were going to get, each has a person who has a skill a talking- Plexus can see the truth behind a matter, and ideally we would work together to get the best deal possible, it cant happen in this situation- I'll just have to trust his ability otherwise tht seeing into the heart of the matter can help him

both have a scout like person to actually help each group find its way around where ever we get off to...

and both a have a combat person, to help deal with touger nasties along the way ;)

: Draws mighty sword and puts on tough, yet hot, game face : I'm ready Xen! Let me at em! What do I do first anyway?

I REALLY want to go in. Let's have everyone go in except Naervod. He can do the investigation. We'll come back, tell him what's in the passage, and if it's good he'll join us.

noted, and acceoted- if most people agree, its all good

@Superevie- I dunno, this is all a bit new to me, but we can take it as it comes, I'm sure well get the drift of things soon enough...

although...I REALLY dislike the thought of anyone being alone... would someone volunteer to stay with our engineer?

Well, I would, but you kinda need me. We don't know where we're going, so it's a good idea to bring a chick with a sword with you. ;)

Sounds good Xen, the plan should work as it is. Puglover and Naervod should stay behind, as they will most likely not serve a very great purpose in our exploring.

bug lover wants to tag along- and I see no reason why he shouldnt, if for no other reason the acting as a messenger btween all the groups- it is munzy who shoul dstay behind IMO for he has no special abilities (perhaps we could give him "slacker" for being to lazy to choose one :p j/k)
