Somehow I can see me winning that without much competition...SPAM means different things to different people. I think it means posting short meaningless posts that noone really cares about. Then there is flooding which is repeating the same thing over and over again...

Somehow, I thnk I'll be on this poll as I spam constantly in everyone else's eyes but not my own.

Most people see short messages as spam. I see irritating messages as spam. I see the forum like a conversation and I keep my messages as short as possible so I don't bore everyone. Sadly, mass opinion is likely to say I'm a spammer.

I agree with you about long posts sometimes being annoying because some threads end up turning into short books and I just don't have time to read them all. I personally think only a few messages count as spam and at the top of the list would be Graem the Mad's thread he has started in Off topic.

In terms of funniest person, I will forgo nominating myself, as I am probably not THE funniest person about here, but neither can I bring myself to single out any one person for that honour. There are a lot of consistent contributers, but it does come down to what you find funny.

That being a matter of personal taste, one does go for the more subtle humour, malversations and word plays rather than take joy in tedious teenage titilations, those tantamount to Torquemedan terror in their tiresome way. The best humour is that which is set up for the big punchline or when someone sets themselves up and the witty retort comes out at just the right moment, like a huge basketball SWAT!

As for the spammiest, apart from the obvious selfconfessed contenders, my gos to scorch. How do you get away with consistently posting one liners that mainly consist of ****, ****** and ************
