(1) prolong ROP with Zulu. Poor bastards do not realize that it is the ROP that keeps them from their resources.....
Universtity done in Pasargade, start Courthouse. Caravel ordered in Susa.
Send Caravel east to island with wheat.

(2) start FP in Antioch (17 turns to go). Found Dakyanus. Using covering Pike to deny China passage beyond the new town.

(3) settler from Ergili goes towards Dakyanus to settle on peninsular behind it.

(5) settler from Persepolis. Found Bampur.

(6) sell Printing Press to Japan for WM and all 16 Gold to bolster budget.

(10) Navigation found. Science is set to zero. We can either built Magellans in Persepolis (40 turns atm but city will grow soon) or in Arbela. I'd leave Antioch on FP thouhg it is almost as fast as Arbela on Magellans.
A settler is west of Dakyanus with a goto to a city site. Another is on the wheat island in the east ready to plunk down a town.

Alright, here are my 10 turns, not much happened:

(1) OK, nothing much. What is this lone pike doing on an island to the east of the main island? Odd.

(2) I give Shaka Navigation for Chemistry. I move some of our pike/settler and some settlers on ships.

(3) Rome will take Navigation and 200g for Banking. I accept. We move some more settlers---we seem to have alot abroad, which is very good.

(4) Tureng Tepe founded, Merv founded.

(5) Behistun founded.

(6) Whoops, my finger slips and a galley ends the turn in ocean. Its only a galley.

(7) I'm guessing that these knights are for war, correct? Well, I suggest our first target should be China: they have lots of overseas colonies. What are we building a palace in Arbela? A pre-build? I'll leave it.

(8) China won't give on Democracy.

(9) Some stuff is built in our homeland, mainly knights.

(10) Nothing. I accidentally started on turn 11, so the next person starts at the beginning of a turn, sorry.

Yep, palace is prebuild, Knights are to cut China down to size (three Knights i.e. 1 Caravel full are a force to be reconned with for small islands).....

Good Lord, Killer, SAVE THE DAY! If you don't show up, it will be back to me, and thats two turns in a row. Killer, if you are skipped, I'll just have to close down this game, a sad fact but it may have to be done.

(1)

(2) ROP with zulu prolonged. Caravel with 3 knights goes to Antioch (China has Saltpeter on that island :mad: ) sadly, another salteter near Tatung :( but there, a fortified Pikeman should do the job - it's on mountains. Roman troops in our land - they WILL daclare war I think. Buy a settler in Dariush Kabir for 40 Gold.

(3) Indeed, war with Rome. Oh well. A Longbowman kills defending Pike in Arbela. Revenge: kill two Longbowmen. Pasargade switched to combat settler.
 
(4) Caravel with knights goes for Cumae now. Antioch completes FP, order Barracks. Immortal ordered in Sardis. Immortal ordered in Pasargade.

(5) Knight in Perse, Immo ordered. i do NOT want to move troops from Zulu blockade, so I need strong attckers fast, even if they cannot retreat. Settler with 1 Pike 1 Knight enters Roman lands.
(6) Rome looses Longbowmen left and right... Knight land next to Cumae, two Immos from Gordium help. Kandahar founded in between Rome and Veii. Cumae had 4 defenders. had(!)...... The two knight re-embark so the ship can head for Neapolis. Pikeman and Knight cover three workers who will connect Kandahar.
 
(7) Rome is willing to give a worker and some money for peace. not yet - we need to damage them (bombardment?). Altin Tepe founded. I cash around for WM - 63 in all. Pasargade changed to Catapult. China unwilling to sell Metallurgy.

(8) Sardis builds Immortal, now Knight. Xinjiang switched to Aqueduct, courthouse not necessary there due to FP in Antioch.

(9) Resistance in Cumae ends. Bombardment of Rome starts with 1 lousy catapult - it damages a spearman! Another Roman spear dies in our lands.

(10) 2nd Catapult goes to Rome, 1st misses. Pike from Perse moves there, too, Catapult ordered. 2 tiles pillaged. Temple bought in Kandahar.


I would suggest another combat settler nest to the wheat north of Rome at the coast. and river :D

OK, this has been fun, but I'm going to have to put this game to rest. I haven't seen posts from anyone on our team (besides you, Killer), making this a one-man game. Too bad. :(
