CG2: Conquest, No Transports, No Airlifting

Not much occured during my turn since I did not declare war not wanting to break treaties (getting nice in my old age - happy birthday to me:D )

Learned Refining in 1510, Combustion in 1530 and Mass Production in 1550. 4 turns away from Motorized Transportation and tanks. Hmmm.. current ROP treaties end with Egypt in 3 turns. Coincidence??

Traded for Espionage and then traded steel to anyone who needed it except for those counties that did not want to pay (Egypt 9 gold :lol: )

Romans canceled traded agreements in 1535 and could not get them to take our spices again:confused:

Former Japanese cities have been strengthened and a large Chinese force is massing north of Thebes ready for war with Egypt. Been building Infanty over Calvary.

Iron Works will be finished next trun
Intelligence Agency will be done in 5 in our capital.

Began building a navy in costal cities. I know we can not build transports, which is why I was building destroyers... The keel of our first submarine was just laid down and should be ready for her sea trials in a few turns.

got it, will play thursday post friday. good idea to build infantry, suggested plan for island conquest ... coptor over artillery and marines to take one city on coast,hurry harbour and barracks,copter over lots of infantry and upgrade to mech inf when available .... gives 12 attack factor 2 move units. any comments
 
Preturn change production of destroyers,as we will not be transporting units we dont need escorts. Upgrade all units to infantry and artillery that can be upgraded.

sorry guys, but school is really taking a lot of time.
I'll be able to play tomorrow afternoon, but it would also be ok if the next player takes the game and play. My 24 hours have passed a long time ago.
 
Since I have installed the DYP mod, for some reason I have trouble with wonder pop-ups while playing sg games. With that in mind and the Pentagon due in 3 turns, I was only able to play 2... but they were fun.

1605 AD: WAR DECLARED ON EGYPT (serisouly, she made me do it)

Egyptian Cities of Samarra and El Armana fall with no losess. Avaris captured with the loss of 1 tank.


1610 AD: Egyptian forces counterattack and capture some workers who failed ot make it to safety. Knowlege Radio waves were discovered and steps were begun to increase our air force knowledge (advanced flight)

On the war front, all is proceding smoothly.

Izumo, Eridu, Giza and Athribus all fall to our forces with no losses. The city of Uruk also falls to our tanks but destroys one regiment in the process.

The city of Alexandria is besiged by our obsolete cavalry and our Rider Army. After a lenghty artillery bombardment, the Chinese forces assault the city and Kubli Kahn captures the Sistine Chaple. One Cav Regiment is destroyed.

wish I could play my full complement of turns because Egypt should not last too much longer.
