Challenge-VI-02

Many people have heard of Sun Tzu's iconic strategy tome "The Art of War". Less known, but more important to Civ fans is Sun Tzu Wu's "The Art of Bulbing":

I decided to study up and significantly improved on my first entry for this challenge. Unfortunately, near the end I made a horrible misclick and gave Pacal peace when he had only one city left. It's culture pressure kept me from tipping land limit. I needed to wait 10 turns to take it. Probably cost me 7-8 turns on my finish time. I still would not have beaten shulec's and bcool's games, but would have come pretty close.

Excellent game Tachy! Your Alphabet beeline certainly paid its dividends.

Should I expect you to beat Game 2 by +200 years too?

No, I didn't get 200 years earlier. Your date is perhaps at the extreme as much as Kaitzilla recently push farther the barrier.

Hey, Kaitzilla, looks like we are doing at the same time a marathon ,fierce eyes to eyes.
I saw your game yesterday while I was playing mine...
My! I was sweating glaring that date and scratching my head, how will I beat that?

In a nutshell, my game had an excellent OP, but somehow bad map where my continent barely have 35% land.
First Attempt.

If two people are interested I provide some insights, I may do it, but not as awesome as Shulec did.

@TMIT

I remember you said someone who may pull off a BC victory makes this challenge crap...well I tested app. 50-60 maps on different conditions (some maps studied more than others though ) and I found out one particular map where I could have ~55% land pre-astronomy without need of galleys for war.
The lucky one who can generate such hypothetic dom. map will dom everyone by several centuries without anyone able to retaliate.

Gah! Tachywaxon beat me!

Well, lets see who wins this competition in the end. I'm starting to feeling the urge to try and crank out the other 8 games.

real reason for using Great Artists to create a Great Work in a captured is the city will avoid disorder and pop to Cultural Boundary 4 immediately; this is much better than waiting for about 10t of disorder and then whipping a Theatre and running Artists, or running Caste System and Artists or just building Culture; its the captured city disorder that slows down later era domination victories.

Sun Tzu Wu

I knew it! We can make great work in a disordered city...but I was too lazy to close the game and verify it.

Yes. Please do it. Very harsh to compete with you.
I have a new ace up my sleeve now; I ragequit much less.

Oh noes! AAA, you stole my first place.

Shulec, I place my bets on you. You have one day left to top Mr. Beccnoa. :)
