3-3! Alonso!

Go Liverpool Go!

I know this is a play at my own team but I couldn't resist it...

Liverpool must've hired Ricardo Agricola ;)/jk

My God! From 3:0 to3:3 in 6 minutes?!! God please make things right :)

Welll they are the champions. But I lost a lot of respect for that team. Milan had fewer faults and Liverpool's goalkeeper should have been fined. There's a rule that a goalkeeper should stay on the line. He disobeyed that on the second strike.
In general I feel the dirtier team won even though I think both played very well...

Goddamit. The game was going so well in the 1st half. I can't believe it. I think the only thing that makes me happy is that Liverpool can't compete next year! HAHAH.

Congratulations to Liverpool for the cup and for that comeback which alone almost deserves a trophy. Milan was, except for those dreadful/glorious 6 or 7 minutes, the best team by far, but when you don't score your chances or blow away such a huge advantadge that accounts for nothing in the end. Which doesn't take away the huge credit Liverpool deserves for for fighting (with luck or without it) and winning the CL with a group of players that nobody expected to do it.
An exceptional game that will live in football fans' memories for years to come.
Another note to Shevshenko, best striker in Europe, but today it just wasn't his night: glory and failure go hand to hand, and Shevshenko symbolises that tonight.
Finally, I hope this game is useful to clear some popular myths of football, like the one saying that italian teams only defend and play catenaccio and english teams are always about attacking football... ;)

Edit: 3000th post. Wee!

UEFA will probably change their minds. :p

They know that the winners need to be given a chance to defend their trophy.

Congratulations to Liverpool

Milan were unlucky but then if you can't hold on to a 3-0 lead...

It is very likely they will change the rules but one can always hope...

:p

edit - If a team can't be in the top 4 of their own league, I wouldn't call them the best in Europe.

On the plus side it'll give everyone else a chance to beat Liverpool and not have their fans saying for the next year that they are 'technically' still champions because no one has defeated them because they haven't played.

Pwned!!! :p

When I started watching in th 50th minute, the first thing I though was "oh crap, I hope they don't embarass themselves and lose 5-0..."

Amazing comeback! Jerzy the dancing keeper made me laugh, but hey it worked. :crazyeye:

Terrible day to be a Milan fan though.
