Is it possible to change an AI player to a human player in single player savegame?

If you want to take over this player (i.e. not make a MP game out of it) you can by making the save a scenario, e.g. by opening Worldbuilder and clicking on Save and then start a scenario ingame - so you can just chose any player as yours.
