Hi there,
I play Civ V on my laptop attached to an external monitor, where I play at a resolution of 1920x1080. However, due to circumstances, I play now on my laptop screen with a native resolution of 1280x800.
The problem, that I have now:
I started the game, the ESBR screen appears, where it says, that game experience may change during online play.
There it says "Click to continue", what i cannot click on. Remember, 1920x1080 is still set.
In my point of view, I can't get rid of the ESRB screen, cuz the resolution doesn't match the native resolution of my laptop.
I tried then to change the resolution settings in "GraphicsSettingsDX9.ini", but somehow, the game doesn't apply the new settings I made in the config file (the cfg doesn't reset though, when I start the game). I had to change the aspect ratio from 16:9 (external monitor) to 16:10 (laptop monitor), but that didn't make a difference.
So, I am curious, how to solve that issue. Maybe someone of you can help me with that :O
