Greetings,
I'm trying to find a way to modify the aspect of buildings and structures after a city or town is subjected to a nuclear detonation. For example, at the detonation turn, the outline of the buildings get broken with part of the building steel bars coming out and smoke emanating. In the second turn, the smoke gradually stops and the buildings remain as in the first turn. At the third turn, no smoke is present and the buildings are restore; however, the city size is reduce at reduced population level.
The difference in this approach is allowing the program to take the existing buildings and structures before the explosion and select them for damage effect.
This effect can be applied to city attacks by conventional warfare (non nuclear attack) but at a localized area (area of attack in city) with lesser damage effect.
I understand previous versions of civilization had this effect. I welcome any suggestions. Thank you.
