Can you do it?

I have an ongoing game where I originally wanted to turn of space-race victory as I don't like that condition. I wouldn't ever want to go that route myself (no satisfaction) to win unless I have no other way out. But then I forgot to turn it off when I created my custom game. Later I was too lazy to restart the game as it was going well.

My hope was that no one would get there before game end (going for time victory). Unfortunately Mansa Musa did win the SS victory with 33 turns left though I was at the top of the score chart. I have a point saved with 99 turns left from where I'm quite sure I can go for a space victory myself (with the benefit of hindsight). But I'd dearly like to be able to turn this condition off mid-game just so I don't have to do the space race.

Is there any way? A cheat code or something?

Open the game in worldbuilder, then save it as a worldbuilder file. That's a text file, so you then open it with a text editor and look in the top part (should be on the first page) for where victory conditions are. If you can't figure it out in this game, do the same thing for a game with victory conditions you like and compare.

Ok I also have the same problem here except I want to turn off time victory. I also wanted to turn off culture and succeeded in doing so by setting the cities needed to 999 in the XML
Tried to do the same thing for time but it did not work. How do I do it?
Saving it as a world builder file doesn’t save liek a lot of stuff

Try and change 2050 to like 32768 or something. That should at least move the end date to well beyond the point where you stop caring.
