Chat Log?

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.


Question--is there a way to pull up a chat log in game, or even continuously re-open a text file in wordpad outside the game? I find that because I'm either focused on a city or reviewing adviser screens that I miss quite a bit of chat and would like to have a "scrollback" feature.

AFAIK, their are no logs.

No chat log that I know of. But in multiplayer, I find I have the same problem as what you are talking about. When a city finishes a project, it flashes up in the top left corner and starts work on something else. So I hit the print screen button and hit the windows key and paste the picture in MS paint (any program will do I'm sure). That way I can see what each city built, and I can go to that city and set the production to what I want. It takes almost no time to do this. At the beginning of the game when you only have a few cities, this is not needed. But when you have a dozen cities all producing something at the same time it really helps out. Hope this helps.

I think you can just press the "x" button and it goes to every city that made something that turn.

Isn't "x" the "move units as stack" hotkey ?
