Cheat Codes

PLEASE tell me there is cheat codes already built into the game. If not:

I looked for the config file for civ4, and well there is no file for civ4 in my program files! I've searched and searched. I even used the search thing and opened up a file called "civ4config" and there is no line that says anything to do with cheat codes. I read every single line....PLEASE I am so pissed and I'm not a computer geek so please explain like you would a 5 year old LOL. thanks

Oh I'd like to add that I am playing CIV4 beyond the sword. so I need cheats that will work for that version

In the main config file you found set the cheatcode to chipotle, by default it is set to 0. With the cheatcode enabled, in game Press ctrl + z to see the whole map (there isn't much more you can do). Also World Builder can do pretty much any cheat function you want. chipotle is more a debugging tool. With a RevolutionDCM based mod you can also switch the player the human controls with cheatcode enabled.

Sorry that made no sence, I cant even find the folder for CIV4. I found the folder for CIV4 BTS. But theres no folder for the normal version, I've looked all over "Program Files"

the .ini file (or config file) is only created after you started the game up for the first time - have you ever played civ4? or only BtS?
also: there is one config file for Civ4 one for Warlords (if you have that) and one for BtS. and they are located not in program files\ but in my documents\my games\<gamename>\
