There haven't been cheats for Mac Civ3 since the early versions. Well, I'm not aware of any. One of the patches killed them. What version of Mac Civ3 have you been playing?
Honestly, the chieftain level is a pretty good cheat.
You have to take frunobulax' remark with a bit of salt, most people did at one time, struggle in chief.
That said, in chief, nothing will be lost if you can't pay the upkeep for it, so you can run at negative income with 0 gold in your tressure and not lose units or buildings. Thats almost as good as infinit gold.
Also the AI pays dubble for everything. The player needs 30 shields for a settler, the AI 60!
With the info you can find in CivFanatics you should quickly be able to compete in regent diff.
I think there is a way to play with a revealed map, it requires the editor though.
Post a kind request in the mod forum, ask one of the PC using members there if they want to make and post a biq file that allows playing with a revealed map while all other aspects of the game remain the same.
Explain why you can't do it yourself. Maybe one of them is kind enough to help a Mac using fellow Civ player!
As Dojo says, there's an editor that works with Civ1.21g, but the files it produces should run in Complete. So in that sense it's an editor for Complete. But it doesn't allow you to edit all the extra features of Complete, including things like exposed maps (I think that's called Debug mode).
MacSoft took it down when they lost the rights. I'm assuming it was so Aspyr could not use it to complete the full editor. If that would even be an issue. Several of us have it.
No, not at all. They were no longer able to distribute it so it became a legal issue for them, from what I can tell. I don't detect anything nefarious in it.
Now am I being stupid here... but when I open the editor and try to do something (e.g. Generate a map) it comes up with an error about a missing file and then closes...

Have you put the editor application (not in its folder) in the same directory as a copy of Civ3 for Mac version 1.21g?
@Dojoboy: It's not enough even to have it installed. The editor is *very* picky. Specifically, it needs a copy of the civ3mod.bic file for version 1.21g to be in the same folder with it.
