I'm gonna do it. Not like I've never stayed up all night playing chess before. Plus I believe I have a good shot at winning the "1st rated under 1492 (USCF)" award. I just played in the "Empire City Open" and went 4-1 for the U1600. If I wouldn't gone 5-0 I would've gotten about $200.

Actually I didn't enter after all.

I was really tired that night (hadn't gotten much sleep previously) so I came home and went to sleep instead of entering.

that is too bad. I played a 24 h Marathon Blitz about 10 years ago (sponsored by Red Bull ), man I was tired after that, lying in bed with squares before my eyes afterwards but it was great fun.

Yeah, I ended up playing later on with a guy who enetered and he said he had a blast. I will have to do this another year!
