Chichen Itza is not giving me +50% Golden ages. Playing as China, I built the wonder in Beijing. I have been using great generals to begin golden ages, but each GA lasts only four turns. I play on YAHEM GEM TSL. Mods I was using are WWGD(for diplomacy which does not work), Info addict, ASG resource mod, end at industrial era, naval counter attack, and two submarines mods, which supposedly make sub warfare more interesting. The game was played on King level.

Does this sound right shouldn't my GAs be much longer? If there is a problem what could be causing it? I don't have savegames because of hard drive crash. It is being replaced in my main pc. But I wanted you to be aware. Perhaps this is not a new issue, Let me know what you think. :)

Each Golden Age initiated by a Great Person lasts a turn shorter than the previous one, with a minimum of 3 turns.
What I'm thinking that is going on is that you've already hit that 3 turn minimum, and that 50% added means 4.5, rounded down that is 4.

I've always seen Chichen Itza work. Are you anywhere near the next happiness Golden Age? That one is always 10 turns and should give you 15 turns with your wonder. Oh, your hard drive crashed, sorry about that. I think the game's alright, though.

Ok that sounds logical. Thank you, was worried there for a minute. And no I am not near my next GA, but it would be 15 turns. They have it the way it is for balance, because China gets many Great generals. I can't use them all. What I did not know was that there was minimum turns for great people, so I thought 4 turns was too short.
