Actually, I was confused because the map had the East Prussia name in the Poland province. You can either keep Poland or I can give you East Prussia. It is the same.

5 squads make 15 defence.

A laser cannon, which costs the same but is marked as specialised in defence, makes 12 defence.

Plus they get a further bonus of counting as 5 troops...so its actually 20 for squads and 13 for a laser cannon, excluding luck.
