Cities want to join other nation

Since I installed the new patch, I experienced something I would consider a bug: Shaka has a lot of oversea cities, so he "liberates" them into colonies (Ramses and the Chinese dude whose name just got lost...something with Qin I believe...). All the sudden 3 of my own cities ask me if the can join those new empires and I of course a receive a hugh malus because they want to join their people. It's like from one turn to the other I get like 30% chinese inhabitants. I wonder if they had Sushi on sale or something...
What makes it really odd is, that my cities have a lot more culture not to mention that China and Aegypt only consist of two cities which are far away from my own cities anyway. This obviously has to be bug, but unfortunately I can't make a screenshot of this.

If you had a Shaka prescence, maybe it became Qin Shi Huang (that's the name) or something else??

Otherwise, no clue.

No I had not presence whatsoever, besides Shaka was on the other continent (even further away then Qin Shi Huang and Ramses II). As I said: It's like 30 % chinese people magically appeared

yeah this happened to me once, the incan guy set up the english as a colony and there on a different continent and for some reason all my people "yearn to join their motherland" , very strange.

Believe it or nor: I actually wanted to do just that, but I thought "Well, those bugs sure won't happen to me".
Guess I was wrong.

What just really bugs me is, that BTS is now out for half a year and there is still no "official" patch, that automatically downloads ingame. And there are still a lot of gamebreaking bugs, not to mention the performance issues. How come fans are much faster in producing a patch then the actual company that should do that and that we have actually paid money to? I kid you not, but I have never experienced so many bugs in a game, that took so long to get fixed. And the statement, that firaxis is right now not planning on bringing out a patch soon makes it all worse. I mean when are we suppose to get 100 % of what we paid for and not just 90? When I first bought CIV I couldn't even play it, since it was a "chauvinist" game that only allowed nVidia cards. And now 2 years and 2 addons later I still have a bunch of bugs that are not fixed. The problem with civ is, that it is an addictive game, with a solid fan base, that has not real competitor. Take Ego-Shooters for example. If they don't get there bugs fixed soon, noone while ever hear of the company again. Take Halflife 2 for example. Everything just works flawless in that game. Why is that just not possible with CIV?
I'm not trying to blackmail someone here, I just hope that someone at Firaxis will wake up soon and realize that you should work with your fans and not against them...

This is happening to me in my current game.

The Koreans were almost wiped out by the Chinese so I decided to take their last city to place a buffer zone between me and the chinese. I also founded a new city on former korean lands. The Korean civilization was destroyed after the capture. Cultural influence in the tiles were solely %mine/%Chinese.

Many turns later, one of the other AI players creates a new colony - Wang Kon of Korea - and immediately Korean influence pops up again in the lands of the *former* Korean empire. This is definitely a bug, as now I get complaints about wanting to join the Korean empire, and more unrest.
