City and Palace View

I know someone has posted about something similar before.

My question is: Why don't I get the City or Palace View option even when I'm playing a scenario that doesn't have custom rules? Is this a bug, or not? (If it is, I'm sorry for posting here.) In the readme, it just says you don't get City or Palace View while playing the Conquests, but this doesn't seem to be completely true, as shown above (I have v1.22, by the way).

Also, I want the City View pics for the C3C improvements and wonders - it doesn't seem like such a big job to me since the City View pics for the old wonders, etc. were tiny. But I don't want to sound like a whining brat - I love C3C.

Just the fact it's a scenario takes out the palace and city views, as I recall.

Something to do with the fact they had to prioritize what they wanted done, and the graphics for the palace/city view were last on the list.

I can't imagine why! I play the game for the palace views!

I can see why they did it with scenarios that have altered rules (like the Conquests), but what's up with custom maps that don't have altered rules not having the two Views? It doesn't make sense.

Besides, they could've still added the pics for the new improvements and wonders to the Views for the Standard Game. It would have added not even one megabyte to the game's size (based on my estimation).

BTW - Did I say I love C3C anyway?

This may be only be me, but I find the palace view very annoying. I've planned all moves and everything and suddenly I have to construct a palace...

Perhaps, but I don't see why they would take the Palace View out under any circumstance. Surely the palace graphics aren't changed in any way for the Conquests. It's just plain weird - they don't even mention it in the readme (just the thing about City View).
