city banners missing on modded EGS platinum edition

As the base game has been free on the Epic Games Store I decided I should grab it. I've previously been playing on a vanilla Steam copy. Since the platinum edition is also much cheaper on the EGS I picked it up as well. Using the same set of mods, city banners are now missing, and occasionally after a few turns, the entire UI disappears. Any ideas about what might be happening?

We've seen this on a few modded games with the city banners in particular after the update, but have not yet isolated it to a single UI mod. I would start with disabling all the UI mods (leave gameplay mods running for now) and see if that makes a difference, then start adding them back in individually until you isolate the offending mod.
