Rampmant Corruption Hinders Productivity

The corruption resulting from our relative distance to the capitol has made it virtually impossible to yield any benefit from working the forrests. Fortunately, we are able to harvest an ample supply of food and have therefore been able to grow rather rapidly.

Gold Bluff Casino Opens - (Huntington, Fanatika 600 AD)

Capitalizing on the recent flow of foreign soldiers passing near our fair city, local businessmen and political figures have established the first fully functional casino in Fanatika. Named for the numerous veins of gold in the nearby mountains Gold Bluff Casino will be a host to those seeking risk or entertainment alike.

Visitors can enjoy all known games of chance as well as nightly shows, including The Magical Mysterious Eyrei (known for making all manner of things appear out of thin air), How the Ek stole Xmas (a humorous spoof of the holiday classic), and Gonzo and the Amazing Technicolor Script (a masterful musical performance).

Great casino. The flashing lights, the bar maids, the thugs by the door. I'm impressed. Although if you want to see real magic I suggest you check out Merlin's show. I believe eyrei's slight of hand is well practiced, but can't hold a candle to the show's new ending. Although I was rather impressed when he pulled that Chinese Rider stack out of his hat.

The rest of the shows are phenomenal. Good luck with the casino.

I just visited the city myself. Very diverse terrain and wildlife. I also saw eyrei's act. I wonder how he does that! And what wonder makes those lights blink? Must be some sort of slight-of-hand trickery.

While Eyrei's show is a marvel to behold, the lights are definitely not magical.

This concept of Invention has certainly spurred some creativitiy across our great land, and our fair city is no exception. The lights are powered by torches (as if it could be done by anything else... :)), and we have installed a new water-powered contraption that continuously raises and lowers a series of large, translucent fabric panels which give the appearance of "flashing".

What could they possibly think of next...
