Civ 3 complete won't install - suggestions

[frustrated]

Recently, I purchased Civ 3 complete but have not been able to install it. The autorun screen works fine but after i try to install i get and error : IS2.tmp has caused an error and must now close. Repeated attempts give the same message other the the number of the problem file. I have tried all the fixes on the support site and tech support are clueless. (since the product was sold they claim they dont have documentation.)
