okay first

i dont think steven harper would be the best choice for a canadian leader (but i hope they think bout canada being in it even though it would be almost the same gameplay as the states)

and i think when you were talking about bribes you printed bride

it would be cool if there were maybe "portable bridges" that were like boats but you could enter and exit on the same turn but the bridges had to stay in coastal water and could not move with people in them so that you could hop from island to island

and they should be able to be captured by enemies and allies could travel over them

i hope they look at your suggestions cya

Ok. Then Who should I pick for Canada? Should I pick queen Elizabeth instead?

Thank you for suggestions

I very much like these ideas for a Modern World/Digital Age mod that encompasses pretty much everything in the last two centuries, starting in 1776.
But, maybe to further enhance the gameplay of these mods, I would suggest using the Civilization Colonization engine and merging it with the BtS one in order to play scenarios in Africa or Southeast Asia or China, as Colonialism and Imperialism, historically speaking, increased to cosmic proportions in these last two centuries. Britain in this time owned one-quarter of the globe, and even America conquered possessions such as the Philippines.

Also, I am keen for the arrival of more historical Ancient World Mods, which encompasses the Histories of Herodotus, the Greeks, China, and the Roman Empire, all the way up to maybe the 1st Century CE, with the death of Augustus Caesar, or maybe even further if one were to create a Roman Civil War Mod in which the player takes control of one of many Roman generals seeking the throne.

It is a shame that you are closing this thread, but when the ideas do appear again, I hope these suggestion will come in handy. :)

Well the thread is still open, so I would just like someone that could put these ideas into practice. If not all of them then some of them.

Why is this in CiV section?
That's an interesting question. I'm not sure why... If someone would move it toward the appropriate section that would be great.

Why is this in CiV section?

its still in the forum it started in - the Civ - Ideas forum, you'll find a lot of Civ4 Ideas in the older threads - we just moved the subforum to the Civ5 section when Civ5 was released...

Ah. Ok. Well I wouldn't mind if the ideas were adapted to Civ V either...

some of the great people seemed kind of redundant, but it would be cool if someone ran with some of these ideas. and there can always be new civ 4 scenarios, even if civ 5 came out.

These ideas remain valid; Civ4 hasn't gone anywhere. Ideas for Civ4 are still welcome! I certainly like the idea of more scenarios and mods, especially in the modern era as suggested by the OP. :)
